Beautiful Textiles specializes in unique fabrics for garment sewing and quilting. For quilters, we carry a broad selection of Japanese cottons, as well as a selection of quilting fabrics from mainstream manufacturer, which we supplement with unusual fabrics that we source in our travels around the world. From African wax prints, batiks, Japanese vintage kimono silk, Moroccan Berber wedding blankets, and so much more! We also offer Advent Calendars and will be introducing subscription boxes!
We are primarily an online shop, though in-person shopping is offered by appointment.
Darcy Lewis, the owner of Beautiful Textiles, is an internationally-exhibited, award-winning, artist & teacher specializing in art quilts and distinctive garments. She has recently taught for the American Sewing Guild’s national conference, the Fiber + Fabric Craft Festival in Chicago, and many others.
