Living with a neurological voice disorder called Spasmodic Dysphonia since 2017, Scott uses quilting and design to share his story and raise awareness. A lifelong quilter, Scott began sewing at age seven and launched 4th & Main Designs in 2014. His work has appeared in Quiltmaker, McCall’s Quilting, Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting, and Quilter’s World. He is the author of five books with Annie’s Publishing, including his newest release, Building Quilts with Panels (2025). Scott also designs fabric with Banyan Batiks, including Abstraction and 4th & Main Favorites. His quilting philosophy is simple: a quilt only looks hard until you try it—and every “mistake” is just part of the lesson. Tracy is a UK-based quilt pattern designer, retreat host, and regular Guest Designer on Sewing Street TV. She lives aboard a 62-foot narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal, where her floating studio, The Little Boat, is home to her beginner-friendly quilt designs. With a background in HR and decades of experience in training and development, Tracy brings warmth, clarity, and confidence-building energy to every workshop. Her patterns feature visual row-by-row instructions and are designed to spark joy and creative flow. At this retreat, Tracy will be teaching a table runner project that’s perfect for all skill levels.
