You will go back a second or more times after spending 4 days there. It is the most incredible experience you will ever have while quilting! My wife and I have been twice, and are registered for a 3rd time! The meals are top knock, more than enough, and service superior to all! Kim will be your next friend!
This is the best place to relax and get pampered…yes you get pampered!!!! From the you arrive until the time you leave you get the most luxurious room and best cuisine you could ever imagine. The host (Kim) will always be there for you if you need anything. I recommend 50 acres 100%.

50 Acre Woods is awesome. The retreat center is beautiful, super comfy beds (with mattress warmers), all meals provided and they are excellent. My favorite is the lasagna. The sewing studio was designed by quilters and it has everything you could need plus coffee, drinks, and snacks. Kim ensures everyone is comfortable and happy and as a repeat retreater (6 times) I have made wonderful friends.
Kim Dyer has a wonderful retreat center. From the moment you arrive, actually before you arrive, she is taking care of you. They unload your car and carry everything inside. All of the meals are so good. Beds are extremely comfortable. My group enjoyed it so much that we decided to join her Legacy Program.
I attended a retreat at 50 acre woods in May 2026. The house is very comfortable and the host is welcoming and accommodating. The work space was spacious and much thought went into ensuring that anything you might need is available to you. Including a huge variety of snacks and drinks! I highly recommend and would love to go there again .
